Privacy Policy
MopMargin helps independent cleaning professionals review prices and prepare client messages. Your customer and pricing records are stored on your device, not sent to a MopMargin-operated server.
1. Information you enter
You may save a client or property label, an optional contact first name, visit prices, estimated hours, materials and travel costs, your desired hourly pay, target margin, optional last-visit dates, and editable price-update drafts. The app uses those records to calculate estimates and generate messages.
2. Local storage
The app uses Apple's SwiftData storage on your iPhone. MopMargin does not currently operate an account service, online dashboard, cloud sync, or database that receives your client records. We do not receive these records merely because you use the app.
Data stored on your device may be included in device backups depending on your iOS and Apple backup settings. Backups are managed under the policies and settings of the relevant backup provider.
3. What we receive
The current app does not include developer-operated analytics, ad tracking, or a client-data upload service. If you voluntarily contact support, we receive the email address, message, and any information you send so that we can respond. Please avoid sending real client information, passwords, or payment-card numbers in support messages.
4. Optional in-app purchases
MopMargin Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase for unlimited client records when available through the App Store. Apple processes purchases and Apple Account payment information. The app accesses StoreKit product information and verified purchase entitlements to decide whether Pro features can be unlocked; MopMargin does not handle or store your full payment-card details.
Transactions and Apple Account data are also subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. Any price and purchase confirmation are displayed by Apple before a purchase.
5. Clipboard and sharing
MopMargin never sends a price-increase message automatically. Choosing Copy places your selected draft on the system clipboard. Choosing Share opens the iOS share sheet, where you decide whether and where to send it. Once shared, that information is handled by the service or recipient you select.
6. Retention and deletion
You can edit and delete client records inside the app. Local records may remain until you delete them or remove the app. Uninstalling the app usually removes its on-device app data, but existing device backups may retain copies subject to their retention and restore settings. MopMargin has no cloud account for which you need to request remote deletion.
We use support emails to answer inquiries and to follow up on reported issues. We retain correspondence as needed for support and applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion of support correspondence using the email below, subject to any required retention.
7. Security and intended audience
The app relies on iOS storage and device security protections. No system provides absolute security. MopMargin is designed for adults managing small cleaning businesses, not for children.
